Terra Typica:

Type locality: Vysoky bereg (= Vysoky beach), Rocky cliff in City Anapa, Krasnodar Krai, Russia.


Taxonomic notes:

Comes in a nearly 100 km long coastal strip sympatric with D. brauneri before and was therefore separated as a separate species.
